Wisconsin Fishing Club

Press Release

February 7, 2005

Club Meeting

7:00 p.m.; Feb. 14, 2005

Calhoun Station

1849 So. Calhoun Rd.

New Berlin, WI

(262) 782-6110

Dennis Skurulsky, from Walleyes For Tomorrow, Inc. will speak on the great progress occurring in the Milwaukee River Basin regarding bringing back walleyes to where they were once native.  Walleyes to 10# are presently in this system, and the growth rate is phenomenal.  These fish are growing at even a faster rate than those lunker fish found in the Fox River in the De Pere area

As a present from our club, there is no charge for this meeting.  A fishing equipment raffle is held at every meeting.  We also have a fish talk where everyone has the opportunity to tell about their recent outings.

We welcome new members, all interested anglers (men and women), outdoor writers, the WDNR, and members of other fishing clubs.  Our members live throughout Southeast Wisconsin.  For more information, contact Chris Hauser,  Heddonccbc@aol.com.  Bring your angling friends and relatives.  Our club is an active member of the Wisconsin Council of Sport Fishing Organizations, http://wcsfo.bravehost.com/index.html.

Sincerely,

L.A. Van Veghel
