Rainbow Park April 19 2008
With a weather forecast of rain and cold only 5 boats made the trip and they
were rewarded with a great sunny day with a light warm breeze. Fishing was
marginal with fast water in the rivers and very dirty water in the lakes. Brion
won the outing contest with 2 Walleyes by the break and Lucy had big fish
overall with a big cat. Lunch of Buffalo Burgers and Hot Dogs with some
excellent Potato Salad made by Cliff, and a variety of other sides/snacks
brought by other members. Several boats headed back out after lunch as the word
spread of a good Perch bite picking up at the Mouth of the river downstream from
Rainbow.
