Jerry Opicka, a long time member and current president of the Wisconsin Fishing Club will speak on “Ice Fishing Secrets from the Oldtimers.” Jerry knows the old secrets and he’s current on the latest techniques and equipment. He brings many years of on-the-water and on-the-ice experience to this talk. Jerry is especially adept at winter panfishing, although he is an all species/all season angler. Opicka is one of the best panfishermen in our state.
As a Christmas present from our club, there is no charge for our meeting. A fishing equipment raffle is held at every meeting.
We welcome new members, all interested anglers (men and women), outdoor writers, the WDNR, and members of other fishing clubs. Our members live throughout Southeast Wisconsin.
